If an item is returned to the Vendor or for some other reason the transaction is cancelled, then the money will be refunded to the Buyer.
- If you paid via EFT – refund will be on your bank account in 1-4 working days, dependent of the batch and payout provider
- If you paid via Credit card – From Locals Prime’s side the refund is done within 1-3 working days but then Your bank has to process it back to your account. Please note that the processing time for refunds is bank dependent and it may take up to 10 working days to reflect on your bank account. Even though the average time is 3-4 working days, then the bank clearance times and processing delays are completely out of Locals Prime’s control. In case the funds have not reflected within 2 weeks of the refund (10 working days + weekends), then please get in contact with LocalsPrime’s support (email@example.com).
Important notes for locating the Credit card refund from your bank account:
- Refunds are always made back to the same account from which they were paid out from
- Refunds can sometimes also reflect on the original transaction date instead of the date the refund was executed. You should always check your statements for both days to verify whether the refund reflects in your account.
